Razorfish is a firm that delivers global digital marketing services to its worldwide clients. Their division is a part of the larger Publicis Sapient platform, which is the first purpose-built platform designed to help clients stay on top of fast-paced technology. The Razorfish team aims to help clients understand the landscape and rise to the challenges presented by today’s empowered consumers. As one of the world’s largest interactive digital advertising agencies, Razorfish was one of the first companies to put animated graphics on its homepage. Since then, they have stayed on top of the latest technology and continue to work to bring it to each of their clients.

History and Current Leadership Team
Razorfish was founded in 1995 by longtime friends Craig Kanarick and Jeff Dachis, who were commissioned to create a website for the New York Botanical Gardens. The current leadership team consists of Shannon Denton, who serves as the global chief executive officer, Ray Velez as the firm’s chief technology officer, Daniel Bonner as the chief creative officer, and Samih Fadli as the company’s chief intelligence officer. The firm currently employs more than 2,000 staff members. Razorfish’s offices are located all over the world including in Atlanta, San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, and Toronto.

Awards and Honors
Razorfish has earned a wide variety of awards and honors, including the April 1998 honor of having one of their sub-networks displayed at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The firm earned a 2007 Webby for Best Newspaper Site. In 2010, the team at Razorfish was recognized as the Top Value Added Partner by Adobe. In 2012, Ad Age recognized Razorfish in the top five on their annual Agency A-List.

Brand marketing and storytelling are some of Razorfish’s most popular client services. They help to tell the story of brands so that consumers are able to become engaged. By telling the stories behind the brands, they aid their clients in becoming easily recognized household names. Razorfish also manages the online reputations of their clients and makes sure that their online images are positive.

Razorfish excels at experience design. Their platforms for commerce and marketing are easy for clients to navigate and help to deliver an exceptional customer and user experience. By using human-centered designs, they’re able to ensure that a client’s website and content work as well on smartphones as they do on laptops.
