Razorfish was founded in 1995 by longtime friends Craig Kanarick and Jeff Dachis, who were commissioned to create a website for the New York Botanical Gardens. The current leadership team consists of Shannon Denton, who serves as the global chief executive officer, Ray Velez as the firm’s chief technology officer, Daniel Bonner as the chief creative officer, and Samih Fadli as the company’s chief intelligence officer. The firm currently employs more than 2,000 staff members. Razorfish’s offices are located all over the world including in Atlanta, San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, and Toronto.
Awards and Honors
Razorfish has earned a wide variety of awards and honors, including the April 1998 honor of having one of their sub-networks displayed at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
