It’s surprising how much a logo can say about a company. The entire personality, tone and voice of the brand is represented by that one, small image and it’s the designers job to make sure that the personality of the logo matches that of the brand.

This is, of course, not easy – there are a huge number of different directions that you can go in, and each small decision you make can have a monumental impact on the tone of the final design.

I wanted to create a collection of some of my favourite logo designs that all have a stylish, elegant tone to them. These have all been created in black and white, which is a challenge in itself – but the result is a series of logos that I believe look stunning, and that help to set a mood and idea of the brand behind the design.

I hope that you find this collection interesting and inspiring, and that it gets you thinking about possible logo designs that you can create too. If you’ve come across any black and white brand identities that you think deserve to be included, I’d love to hear about them in the comments.
